Hey guys,
Its been a while sence i've been on here but I'm in a sticky sticky situation. I sold a 93 Cavaler J-body today for 800 bucks. ok I pull the car out of the garuage to put this guys system in it for him. and PSSHHHH antifreeze all on the ground. So come to find out the antifreeze is coming out the drain plug in the heater core. So this means, BUSTED, correct? if so my quistion is this. can I drain the antifreeze, take a peice of round rubber tubbing and connect the in line and the exit line of the heater core tubbing?? I need help asap cause I need the cash yet I cant afford to put 200 into the car and only make 600 out of it...

Replacing one isnt too bad, the part wasnt much, and it took me about 4 hours if not less to replace mine, sadly, i had to tear the dash apart to do it.

Tell the guy to pay you another $250 + parts to install a new one. Make some more cash for a few hours of work.

Shops charge $400-600 to install one.
