Hey guys i have a 1990 sunbird gt turbo. Now the guy before me cooked the engine. He then swapped in a 2.0 Na engine. I would swap in another turbo engine but those engines are hard to come by. Anyways i was wondering how difficult it is to swap in a 2.4 out of a thrid gen gt. into a sdecond gen. I would have an entire third gen for parts...

I did a search and found another guy trying but he never said if it worked for sure or not.

Search around for speedvisioncavalier. He swapped a 2.3 Quad 4 into his car, which is basically the same mounting setup as the 2.4. It required a custom rear unibody mount IIRC, as well as all custom blocks to body mount brackets.
