Hey anybody know the code for the 5spd manual tranny for the 2.2 ohv motor? And how much hp can this tranny take? I've heard these cars are real cheap to boost (compared to a 7th gen dbw celica gts anyway)

I have an old 93 cav sitting around contemplating a project car.
The 2.2 trans is the Isuzu MK7. It could go either way with how much HP it can take. I've seen them behind 3400s before, and I've also seen them smoked behind moderate 2.2s. They're just like any other trans, could go either way.
No, the LN2 is not the same as the 2200. Although, the basic block is the same, everything else is different.
