can i swap my gauge on my 94 r/s for a better looking z24 one

If your RS has the 3.1, then it's a direct swap. If your current cluster is missing the oil pressure gauge, then you'll need to remove the oil pressure sensor and install an oil pressure sender in its place.

If you have the 2.2, then in addition to the oil pressure sender, you'll have to crack the cluster open and add a resistor to the tachometer for it to read properly. There's a howto for this posted here on the forums somewhere, or on V6Z24.com. Try searching both places and you should be able to find it.

There's also a gauge set that includes the tachometer and optional gauges that's a direct swap if you have a 2.2, but they're extremely rare.

Check the Appearance forum at V6Z24.com. That's where you're going to find most of anything you might want to do to your 2nd gen.
