'91 2.2l cylinder head install

Are there any tips on what I need to do before installing my reconditioned cylinder head onto the original block? The bottom end is fine, head had a crack in it, found a good head then had it cleaned up. They milled 10 thousandths off of the bottom of the head and it has me worried they took too much off. Will the valves clear the Pistons? I am putting it together today and was curious on what others had to say about it.
Thanks!

Looks like 20 thousands is the limit.

Did one on a 2000 S10......... Use the Cloyes timing chain set....... not Autozone's Duralast

Felpro Gasket set and get "New" headbolts of course.
