hey, i have a 3,1 5 speed z24..its a 90, and im just wondering how to do a drl diisable,

To my knowledge they never came with DRL's

Yes NO daytime running lights on a 1990 for sure!Please re ask or comment on what is going on with your car.DRL was more like later nineties jbody stuff.

I don't think DRLs came till 93 and that was a Canada only option.

I believe that this didn't become standard in the US until the next gen J-Bodies in '95. My '93 Sunbird doesn't have them.

I believe DRL were required in Canada as far back as 1986, so you may find more info on cars from north of the border.

Check your fuses and look for a relay. If they cam factory you probably just have to pull a fuse or relay as its OBD 1 and shouldn't have any warning lights or anything that would come on if it is deactivated. Has to be very simple to do since gen 2s are simple.

Just going to throw it out there that they did come with drl,
at least my 90 z24 did haha, along with my old 88 wagon, 91 z24, 94/93/94 parts cars.
But then again, like a previous poster said, pretty sure Canada had to have them
