So my 88 cavalier with the standard 2.0 is having AC issues... The AC has been worked on before and has had a lot replaced, besides the compressor... my guess is the compressor, I know a little but not experienced in this type of work... It was working fine one day then intermittently started blowing warm air ( usually when accelerating) then completely pooped out the following day. As of now, I hear the compressor "click on", with the fan, it has refrigerant but blows warm air... My question is... What else besides the compressor could be the problem, trying to narrow it down... Sorry for such a noobish question.

Does the compressor clutch stay engaged? Or just click on for a few seconds and then stop?
