What size is that bar width wise, and is it hollow or solid?
I have some bars laying around and plan on working on my susp. next

I have a crazy suspension on my car and I love it .....
I have
-front and rear sway bars
-front and rear strut tower bars
-front k member
-front rad support with radius rods
-rear tie bar
-dropzone springs
-dropzone struts

By the way I have had no problem with the Dropzone equipment, before anyone starts flaming

Its $85 plus shipping in the continental US. But just remember what it consists of ..... 1-1/4" polished aluminum radius rod, 2 - 5/8 x 5/8 heim joints, and grade 8 hardware. All you need to do is drill two holes and its set to install.
The other rear tie bars out there are mild steel smaller diameter, welded construction and I dont think they come with hardware.
Very easy to do!!!!!

Phil, have you had one of your bars installed on a J with a 3" exhaust?

Mine is installed with 2.5" center exit and it clears by a lot, like 5".
I dont see a problem with 3", but I cant guarantee it.

Best solution, get a broom handle and mock it up under the car, see how much clearance you got.

I made mine with 42 inch bar and the holes are close if not exactly 46 inches center to center.
Well here's the info on it on note paper as that's how I do ideas. lol
Some the diameters changed but the length of the bar did not.
I think it wound up to be exactly 42 inches on the radius rod leaving a perfect amount of room for the heims.

The bar doesn't have to be as beefy as Phils but it won't hurt either.
I'm really happy with mine as most that have done this mod will say the same thing.

Good luck and nice stuff Phil.
