hey guys ive been wanting to pick up a set of baer decela rotors for my neon rear disc swap but i havent been able to find a part number for the SRT-4 specific ones. i have only come up with 53008-020 and they are just for the standard neon.
now, i have heard the SRT-4 calipers were different than the standard ones and with those you also need the slightly thicker SRT-4 rotors to match them.
just wondering if i can use the standard neon decela rotors on the srt-4 calipers or if i gotta order the standard calipers instead. i really was looking forward to using the SRT-4 stuff...

I pulled 2 neon ones from the yard, 1 of those were seized. So I went to autozone to get a new one, they were out of the neon ones so I grabbed a Chrysler LHS one. Same caliper. So I have 1 neon and 1 LHS one technically.

well ive been reading up on this on some srt forums and have found some are using the srt-4 calipers on their cars with the standard neon (or pt cruizer) baer decela rotors and it works fine. but they are indeed 1/4" narrower.

thats all fine n dandy but the whole idea behind me wanting these decela rotors are because they are the closest match i have been able to find to the look of the wilwood front rotors.
i want them to look the same, or as close to it as possible.
and yeah i assumed baer would make a set as well, but idk... i guess they figured the stock brakes were good enough for those boys and didnt produce a set. which is damn near retarded what with all the srt-4's out there with upgraded parts hungry owners and all....

Yeah, we just found power slot and EBC rotors for this, no baers...

Yea thats why I chose these rear rotors since the best matched my Baer fronts. I was on the hunt for weeks before I found the best matching.

Stillen Cadmium plated SRT-4 rotors and Hawk Pads is what I ran.
^^^ yeah i considered those as well but they arent even close to matching the wilwood fronts so...

I'm running the EBC slotted rotors that are sold by TTR.
These rotors were specific to the SRT4 and not base rear disc.
I'm also using the EBC RedStuff pads but haven't driven the car yet to have any kind of evaluation.

well, i am going to place an order through TTR for the hawk pads (same part number between base neon and SRT-4 and same size etc) and the base neon decela rotors.
ill let everybody know how it turns out. i dont see it being an issue, im sure that with the hawk pads its going to stop on a dime anyways. that extra 1/4" of meat isnt going to mean much to me as the car will barely be tracked.
