I know of Camber adjusting strut mounts.

I'm asking about different ways?

What about slotting the bolt holes on the struts where they connect to the spindle? Has anyone done this? Results?

Reason I'm asking is I know somone who has done this, and it was something I have never thought of.

Yes you can. Some kits come with them slotted. Ive been running a camber kit on mine for 110K miles. Fetter said that the OEM control arms are slotted at the ball joint so that could take up some as well.

Now personally I dont like slotting the strut on expensive coilovers. But if they come with it, im ok with that. I just dont want to be the one to grind and cut them up knowing what I paid for them and how much they cost. I think the STD's i just got are oval up top for some adjustment along with the camber plates.

Slotting those holes is the factory recommended method.

Depending on if you want to adjust it or not, you could also simply drill new holes in the strut tower or actually slot those holes. I've seen both. Not the best for street cars, but on the track it's sometimes the only way to be within the rules.
