I've tried this setup before with the bars going from the strut towers to the radiator support. The problem I found is that there are too many things in the way along with the hoods on some of the aftermarket companies not working with those braces.
The bars just jut out too far and will never let the hood close.

Yeah,
I remember running into that problem.

Gotta make sure the hood can close.

All I have to say is I recently picked up the Godzilla FSTB, rear STB and a Godzilla lower tie bar and when I unpackaged them my jaw almost hit the floor. These bars are bad @$$, very well crafted, nice welds, lite weight and IMO much more attractive then the GM FSTB , Freedom Design RSTB I am ditching in favor of Marks insane developement for our "dead" platform.

Mark thanks again. You are the man. Btw the owner of S&R had the same reaction as I did when he saw the bars. His exact words were " holy sh!t Godzilla is f***n right" I share this simply because the name fits the product so well!

Mark,

This is a HUGE shop in Tampa. Very well known and has had SEVERAL cars on the cover of many popular tuner mags. I am hoping mine to be next (or maybe more realistic a article inside lol)

S&R Performance

Anybody local who needs a shop that can do it all this is it!

You arent reinforcing the radiator support by triangulating bars to the strut towers. you are keeping the strut towers from moving front to back out of line from each other, like the strut bar keeps them from moving left and right to each other.

The radiator support bar is merely a place to attach the bars.
