i have done some looking and cant seem to find anything on it, are the 95-99 and 03-05 front struts interchangeable? i have a set of kyb front strust im trying to get rid of and someone that has a 98 sunfire is asking if they will fit his car (mines an 04)

yes, but the struts mounts are different, but you can also use either setup.

This^ but to alleviate confusion the struts are the same and the mounts bolt to the car the same. It is the bearing design in the strut mount that changed and wont affect anything when swapping between the two designs from year to year.
