Tein BASIC Rebound Question
Monday, April 02, 2012 11:01 AM
I purchased a used set of basics last summer - one rear strut is blown which is fine I'm sending it back for rebuild at TEIN.

My issue is the other rear strut - I can push down on it and it goes down without too much force... the thing is when it rebound sback up it comes up VERY slowly. It takes about 10-15 seconds for it to rebound to full height.

Is this normal for a TEIN rear strut? Should I send it in for rebuild just to be safe since I'm having the other one done?

Thanks,

I think you should definitely be getting that rebuilt dude. Since one is going there, why not send the other as well?

Should always do replacements/rebuild in pairs
