lowering springs

just wondering where a good place to get lowering springs from. i need to replace one of my shocks.

i heard some noise and found this.

thats the shaft for the shock on the rear passenger side. in the trunk view.

Or you think it could be just the mount? i dunno any thoughts anyone.

but yea good place to get reasonably priced lowering springs and shocks. i would do coil-overs but dont have that much cash.

ouch, megan are just noname/ebay springs. If you want good springs look into a set of Eibach pro or sport kit, the sticky in the suspension thread is a pretty good read, it could use some updating but should give you the basics. also, if you plan on lowering, make sure you buy lowering struts too, they are pricey but its the only way to do it proper and above all safe. You can also look in the classifieds too, sometimes theres a good deal on new or used stuff...

Right.
Just check the shock/strut for any signs of leakage.
i.e. fluid running down the body of the shock.

Yes you will need a spring compressor. And you will also need a long travel truck for jumping, your cav is just not cut out for big air
