so accordingg to this, if i want my coupes wheels to be inline and neutral i should get 1/2 brackets because the 1/2's bracket puts it closer to the stock front right?

What are brake ears? You mean caliper brackets? Just buy semi-loaded calipers, they come with them.

total list all below are saturn parts from a 1991 to 1998 SL2 SC2 or SW2
Semi loaded calipers (these include)
.........Caliper
.........Caliper Bracket
.........e-brake bracket
.........bleeder screw
.........banjo bolt
..........slider pins/bolts

Rotors (re-drilled to 5x100)
Rear brake line (the flex lines)
Pads

If you dont get semi loaded calipers you have to steal most of the list indented below calipers from the junk yard OR buy it.

Okay great. Now my next questions is where can I find the rears semi-loaded? I've been calling around but no luck. Maybe because i wasn't sure what I needed exactly. So any rear setup with work with the brackets jeffies makiing. As u listed above?

Any rears from those years and model saturns. The way I always look it up is 95 SC2 rears. That way no one can @!#$ up and get drum brake results. There was rock auto links in this thread somewhere.

Any Saturn s-series with 4 wheel ABS will have rear discs

Edit:

Also, Fetter is getting his adapter brackets tomorrow, so we will see how he likes them

Nope, after 1998 they still had ABS but no rear disks (or was is 2000 that it was phased out?) Whatever it was 3rd gens had abs but drum brakes only.

I'm going to make it easy for the junk yard guys. If it has black plastic bumpers or door handles it wont likely have the brakes. But if they match body color its likely. Also I'm going to put down what saturns would have the brakes.

I still dont believe those are right, but we did check and they had the same part number stamped in them as the new calipers I just got.

I know there were a few more at a local yard if somebody would be interested... I could prolly get them to anyone for 60+ shipping per set. This would just cover buying the brackets and my fuel to get there and back. They would need cleaned up and a new seal kit... I THINK there are two sets left there as of a month ago when I got mine, Could be more, or less, they update their inventory constantly. Lemme know. Otherwise rock auto reman semi loaded calipers and brackets are only 83 each, plus like 7 99 each for new hydraulic hoses.

i would take a set for 60$! That is if the one from v6 with 5 bolts would not work! cause i could get these for almost nothing

just check the numbers on them. i posted pics a few pages back of the ones i pulled. just compare the pics of the calipers on here to the ones on the car your looking at. Mine came off a v6 saturn sedan v6, and i believe it was a 5lug pattern. 110 maybe .. either way..check the numbers on them and youll know. i WOULD verify these are correct calipers but SOMEONE needs to send me a bracket before i can do that :p

silly question but would it not be better to have a 5x110 rotor cut to be a 5x100 than to have a 4x redrilled to 5x?

and please, if possible explain why we couldn't have the same sunfire rotor/brake setup in the rear as in the front (since the bracket will be custom made anyway)
