I'm still having all sorts of problems with my kit. I'm gonna go try to install the replacement valve I was sent while on vacation. Gotta go do it at my aunt's house cuz she car-sat and now my car is stuck there. Dad wants to call a tow to take it to a shop here and have them redo the whole thing. This has been hell. I seriously am considering selling the kit and going back to stock. Actually my hellish GC/KYB set up was working out better than this. I'm sad N frustrated. We've been working on my car like a month now.
i have a question jim, is there anything i can install to actually control the speed of the bags, i have a hard time getting them even and tryin to get it as close to the ground when parking it, right now my right rear strut is up/down at about half speed, i think it's just a grounding issue, i kinda like that and wished i could do it with all 4, is it possible to control it with a knob or something from inside the car?
You can install bushings on the T to the dump valve to control the speed lowring it. There are also speed controllers that you can put on the end of the dump valve to control the speed of the dump but nothing that I've heard of to control the speed from inside the car.

Do yall think that it could be something else besides the struts?

Like say the lower arm bushings?
I mean. THey normaly dont see the kind of extream work that they do now with air ride and having them twisted threw a full range of motion alot. God knows mine see it alot.

I am all that is man

no, i think it is where the upper plate meets inside the strut tower. does it do it at all different PSI's?
Update, I sent my struts back in to easystreet and they checked them out and they say there were no sounds on their machine, but I just got them back and even got a new strut and I still have clunking. Mine is at every psi, I can hear it over big bumps going fast or slow, but going slow I can hear it over even small bumps. Not sure what the problem is.

Maybe I'll show Jim at the bash if I even go still, I'm very uncomfortable about driving 6 hours with it clunking like it is.

sevenonesixcavy wrote:it sounds to me like the metal plate (upper mount) on the inside of the strut tower could be making the noise, just an opinion. did you guys wrench yours down tight? try putting a piece a rubber in between there. but then again why wouldnt mine do it

I also recommend the rubber-like dynamat for these things, I used that on my subfrace bar to prevent metal-to-metal sounds and it'd holding up great.

pat..driving long distances shouldnt be a concern for ya...mine is a daily driver and it goes on on 6 hour one round trip drives every other weekend

i would like to see some sort of solution to this but i dont know if that will happen...i think they need to actually test drive one of our vehicles and see for themselves

im about 4 hours from the michigan border if we could try and work something out to arrange a drive in my car so they can see first hand the clunking

Mine started clunking yesterday and its loud and annyoing. It does it at evey psi I sent it at. You can only hear it if you are going slow, so not sure what a solution is. I checked everything and all the bolts are snug and nothign is rubbing. Hopefully we can figure out what it is.

if it does it when you pop it up, thats your ball joints. other than that it could be the thud of the tire hitting the crack seal on the roads, the possibilities are endless. just my .02 cents.

Ok now call Jim from Easystreet and tell him you're having the clunking also so he knows it's not just me, cause he hasn't responded to my last 3 emails.
