TEIN S.Tech are on now
Sunday, February 20, 2005 12:11 PM
Well today I removed my bags and installed a set of TEIN S.Tech Lowering Springs

1.7 front
1.5 rear

My first impresion was that it looked like a 4x4. But after measuring it did in fact drop like it says it does. But remember Im used to seeing my car sitting on the ground.
So for those who are used to seeing your car at the stock jacked up height it will def look better once these are on.

The ride. OH MY GOD the ride was great. 10x better than my bags ever thaught of being. I have no sway bars are any other suspension parts so it leaned in the turns some but not to much. I took it down some roads that I stay away from on my bags and It road like a dream. ANd this is on stock blown front struts and stock rears that arnt blown yet but still have good damping in them.

These things should be great for those who are going to run them on the Tokicos or some Konis.

Well I think I may have found a shop in Houston that may hook me up with a good price on the Tein coilovers.

These S tech are great but I want to be about an inch lower.

I'll take some pics. I need to figure out why my card isnt laoding anymore on my computer. It may take a while since I dont know much about these damn things. Just know how to turn it on.

I love air ride. But I also enjoy the company of a lady.
And my car didnt ride very well at all with the air. I was sick of the complaints.
ANd I was sick of it myself.

Sometime this year im going to buy a truck. Not sure what I want yet but it will get bagged first thing. ANd will be a very fast setup. A very very fast setup. Faster than what is safe to do on a J body for sure.

Im sick of how the Easystreet struts rattle and clunk so damn much up front. But im going to see if I can use my stock upper mounts with them. If so then I will prolly stick them back in. Only drawback is that it will raise the overall lowest dropping point. So it wont lay so low and pretty anymore.

Out back I have my custom bags still in place. If I put the front back in at a higher point then I will make spacers for the rear so the rear wont squat lower than the front when all the way down. But I will still need to find some struts that I can use back there.

I Just put these Teins in for a little while. I knew I wouldnt run them for long.

But I also may get the Teins coilovers because I miss being able to take turns faster than whats I can with bags.

that is 100% why i got rid of mine. Everyone loved the bags, but not the ride, and i myself can't stand clunking and that harsh of a ride. Lets not forget the valves freezing up every morning, or the occassional leaks... ::sigh::

Well its been one day and I mis my bags already.
I'll most likely put them back on this weekend. Im going to try and use the stock upper struts mounts up front. And I need to make some spacers for the rear bags to keep them level with the front.

^^^ hahaha... you gotta have a lot of money to keep changin your mind like that! hahaha,... I love my bags... no one complains about the ride to me. I guess I have it setup properly... and the brownbread worked wonders... cause I dont hear a single clunk from the front and a very slight one from the rear with my seats dropped.
