Can Koni's Blow?

I searching for some used red koni's and just wondering if they can wear out or blow. If i buy some used ones maybe 2years old, will they still handle the same as when they were new

I am sure that ANY brand can blow once abused enough. It just depends what they went through. I would like to see some input on this since I do have Koni Reds.

from what i hear, if you send the blown bits to koni they repair them or send you a new set. apparently if you send reds they give you yellows. hush hush

Of course they can but.......
1.under alot of stress or a few years of stress anything can happen to any Struts and Shocks.
2.That's also why you have a lifetime warranty on them.

yes, they can blow, as mentioned above.
typical way would be to bottom out...oops, left off the bumpstops did ya'?
the opposite can also be harmful...topping out. yeah, no more baja runs. sorry.
the shop guys at koni are really great about repairs or modifications, should they be needed. paul is the man around there.
call koni or check their site http://www.koni-na.com for details on their warranties, just in case.
general wear and tear over time won't blow your konis in the literal sense of dripping fluid everywhere, but they will lose their effectiveness eventually. just send 'em back to Koni if this happens and say you need 'em rebuilt...though it might be more cost-effective to just get a new set at that point...

I don't know who Koni's is but I'm sure if you took her to dinner and treated her right she'd blow. Just my 2 cents
