Dont buy them, there is a reason coilovers from a company are $800-1100 while ebay is $35.

look at the sticky that says lower your car. Event has a good explanation on why those companies are not good to buy from. Basically, the coilover is incomplete and probably not made with the best materials/workmanship.

FIRST of all Im not no noob u P.O.S SECOND I asked if anyone bought them and if they did how R they

they are horrible, its like taking the car and bolting it to the frame. they are sleeved coilovers, basicaly a horribly small spring not big enough to support the weight of the car properly. they are not made for your car, they are generacilly made for any kind of car. ride will suck, they will probably sag after a while, and if one of your perches breaks that holds the spring then one corner of your car will drop down save ur money!

Think of it this way. Buying a pair so sneaker at Pay Less and buy an pair Nike, Rebok, NB. You get what you pay for. Some people will by it but it is not the most comfortable and after while you wish you bought the Nike rather than going to Payless.

You'd be surprised at how small a spring you can get away with and still have a good ride. Sleeve kits are not necessarily bad. The problem with these crap eBay scams is that they're not actually engineered for our cars so they don't have the right spring rates and don't come with the right parts to install them.

Don't buy them. They're dangerous and should never be put on a j-body.

The only sleeve kits I know of that are made properly for our cars are from Ground Control or RK Sport.

I hate Nike. Saucony is the way to go for running shoes.

oh wait...I better check on eBay to see if I can get some cheap ass shoes made of cold steel. Might not be comfortable, but damn are they cheap!

instead of calling people noobs (which people usually take offensive) why cant the learned people direct the newer people to posts with useful info. Ive been around cars for quite awhile and there is still systems on the car i dont understand and i still have to ask questions.

Man, why do people make it seem like Ebay sells all this @!#$? Ebay is a service, you an get quality stuff on Ebay too....depends on the seller.

P.S. Save the $40 and just cut your current springs....if you aren't going to do it the right way might as well save a few bucks......

Re: EBAY coil overs

they suck 4 air and can't get any. if you did read the FAQ then you would know how they are and wouldn't need to ask. and if your asking a questions from a certain level then we have to assume that you just don't know and you are relatively new to the subject. and the more you give people static about tell you what has been asked about 20 times a month, the less they will be willing to help you out in the future.and if you want to tell me you didn't then why did you post this ?

one of my favorite quotes is,"I don't know allot, but i know speed costs" well the same goes for suspension.i have allot of money tied up in upgrades.

demon child you are right, but you know something I was reading posts and stickys months before i joined the site. I still have questions about stuff that I don't know, but as a general rule I won't flame someone till they show their backside. (do i need to explain that one?) I do have to remember that some of us had Event to point the way. and in a way he is still here in the form of the FAQ he wrote for all of us.

I was stupid and payed about $60 for a pair of ebay coilovers and it screwed up my car bad and ended up costing me more money to fix than if i would have just bought somethin decent to begin with. The ride crushed my spine like a toothpick and did the same to my sunfire. Save ur money!!!

Ok... everybody is just trying to talk him out of something he never said he was going to do in the first place. Maybe he's just curious? Drew and Dave are the only ones who should have posted being the only ones with first hand experience.

I don't need first-hand experience with the garbage to be able to point out what's wrong with it and why it's not going to work for our cars.
