What do you dislike about the brakes you have now?

You have to tell us the problem before we can give you the solution.

SSBC, Bear, or Wilwood if you want big un's. or you could visit a newer W body in a junkyard and swap a lot of parts.

SSBC is the best as far as I'm concerned as far as big brake kits with the rear disc conversion go but there are a few other good ones too.

Simply changing the front brake pads and using slotted rotors will give you a nice increase in braking performance, and won't "break" the bank. If it's looks you want, you'll have to spend some $$$, cause big brake kits aren't cheap, and you need to run 17's with most of them.

What makes them better than Baer, in your opinion? Just curious...

$600 ssbc vs. $800 bear. although i think bear has a two piston caliper in the rear.

No, they both use a single piston caliper in the rear.

I believe the SSBC kit requires 18" wheels for their 13" front kit and you have to machine the knuckle yourself if I'm not mistaken.

I was just curious as to your reasons. I thought maybe it was something other than price.
