it sounds like a few problems , the offset on the wheels is sticking the tire farther to the outside


if the gap between the tire & strut is very small then its possible he has the GR2's that are for the base model cav , and from what i remember the spring perch sat 1/2" lower than the stock pirch , which caused tire rubbing problems at the pirch


which with a rim with a outside offset wouldnt have as much of a problem with

If I were you I'd jack the car up take off the rims one by one and look on the tires and on the car find out exactly what is going on b4 your good deal turns into a really bad deal with the purchase of another set of tires!

i have 18's and a drift kit and my car in the front doesnt look much higher then that and im sitting on stock suspension.. i dont think is more then 1.7'' as said before ive never touched my suspension
