Did you buy a fairly long allen key? Those work easier. You can try a little wd-40, but don't expect much. Once you break them loose don't put them back on as tight.

remember!

righty tighty, lefty loosey

that's as if you're looking directly at the bolt, righty meaning clockwise, lefty meaning counter-clockwise

Or, if your on the driver's side of the car turn towards the cab. If your on the passenger side, turn towards the front bumper

of course your looking at the bolts backwards too.

when i did my front pads i thought i was gonna have to stand on those stings to get them loose. I used an Allen socket and my ratchet. it took a bit of effort but it finally gave. did you spray it down with brake cleaner to get out any brake dust that would be gumming up holes?

heh... you realize that "towards the cab" is dependant on the position of the allen key at any given time...

Well, point the allen key up then

go down to an auto parts store and pick up the 3/8" drive 3/8 allen head socket, and dont use an extension on the ratchet...if you have to, use the handle from a floor jack or other suitable bar/pipe to use as a breaker bar type extension on the ratchet if you dont have a breaker bar....good luck!

j/k man make the allen wrench parralell to the ground and point it to the rear of the car (driver side) and get all your wait on top of it and push.

Just push with all u got. Sometimes they stick really bad cuz of the exposure to rain and dirt has a tendency to make them fuse to the caliper. Just push hard!!!

just so i know that your not out there killing yourself, are you using the little "L" shaped allen key or a socket, with the socket wrench your going to have better grip and you'll be able to put more torque to it. also if you didn't hit it really good with brake cleaner you need to. I don't know how old that car is theres nothing in your profile. but road dust plus brake dust is not good for your lungs man. two if its caked in the hole for the hex head then you can't get a solid grip in the there.

Yeah, definitely shoot up the hex hole real good with the brake cleaner. You don't want to end up with the key half-inserted and then round out the hole.
