I was trying to put coilovers on my car and i ran into a problem. The Stopper on the strut is in the way and doesnt allow the springs to fall down onto the strut and istead just rides ontop of that. There were a couple other people with me that sugested shaving down the stopper until it fit. Do any of you have any idea about this?
well first what coilovers are you using.....if they are ebay ones then there is your first problem, and you are probably doing to have to cut the bump stop on half i believe. other than that im not real sure.....someone will soon jump in and tell you what to do im sure.

If its the stopper im thinking about, right above the stock perch? I hammered mine off, then the threaded sleeve slides nicely down and sits on the stock perches. And yes I cut my bump stops in half, as mentioned above
