Eibach Sportlines Question
Friday, April 15, 2005 11:31 AM
I noticed that the Eibach sportline kit lowers 1.4" in the front and 2.3" in the rear. Can somebody explain to me why the rear lowers more than the front? If they wouldn't make them completely even then I'd at least think the front would lower more for a more aggresive stance. Can somebody explain this to me? Thanks!

If you look at a stock j-body, the rear sits higher than the front. The Sportlines are engineered to level out the car.

Having the stock rear higher helps with load capacity. You wouldn't want to ride around with two adults in the back seat on a regular basis if you had Sportlines.
