I picked up all the Neon hardware for around $50 (I'm not sure exactly, I also picked up some stuff for the Bonneville front brake swap I'm doing, and some interior parts) The rotors were $50 each, calipers $20 each, and cables $45 each. The machine work cost $60 (probably more for most people since I knew the guy doing it) So maybe $300-325 all told..... I also had my entire suspension powder coated for $300. Much cheaper than the $800+ most kits go for.

Is there a possible way to install the rear disc assembly and run it off the stock cables already there for the parking brake???

4 months in Korea = 17" rims
4 months in Iraq = Bodykit
Not having mommy and daddy pay for everything = priceless

There is a post in this thread about that. The link to the pic is dead, but the guy used stock cables and filed them down just a tad to fit the hole in the bracket he was using. It wasn't a Neon bracket though, it was another Chrysler car. He has an 88 Cav if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if the 3rd gen cables are different than 2nd gen ones. Your best bet is to try it and find out.

Well Guys I picked up two rear calipers from a 95 plymouth neon sport yesterday.. Got em for $22.00 at the yard.. I couldnt get the bolts off to take the brackets off though, grrr stupid rust.. Anyway, Ill be going back to the yard soon to yank the brackets off with more muscle . Then Ill go get a brand new E brake cable. Ill keep this thread updated hopefully with pictures.

Hey James a tech question that can help 3rd Gen people about proportioning, do you know what diameter are Neon rear caliper's pistons? also what size are those rotors? I had this info but I can't find it.

I'll be pulling the whole setup off the car in the next few weeks to finish up some detail work. I'll be weighing it as well as measuring everything up. I was in such a rush to get it back on the road for the Bash, I didn't have time.
