got an 04 cavy wrecked and had to swap rear axles well the drums on the 04 are larger than the 96 and i have a problem of the rear brakes are locking way before the front and is causing me to slide around. i figure it is because of the prop. valve that is trying to send enough fluid for the larger wheel cylinders. my question is there an adjustable prop. valve for the cav or am i gonna need to switch drums and all that to correct this?

Just take the drums off any douse those suckers with brake cleaner.
They'll be fine for another few years unless you have a leak in the brake cylinder.

Good question... the 00+ cars use an external proportioning valve near the rear axle... but the 00-02 cars have the smaller brake drums while the 03-05 have the larger drums....

but the prop valve is not adjustable? is there one available or should i just go with 03-05 drums?

There are adjustable prop. valves available, but it might be cheaper to get the drums.
It just depends which way you want to go.

Metering and proportional valves havent been adjustable for years.

Did you try the can of brake cleaner yet?
I think you're making a mole-hill into a mountain.

i dont know how or why but when i put the new wheel bearing on the front now the brakes work great
