my car has been lowered on eibach sportlines and stock shocks for about 3 years now. the ride is horrible so im guessing its time to replace the shocks. now i just need to know which shocks to get and where to get them from without spending a ton of money.

I would suggest koni yellows....i haven't looked at prices in a while, but last time I check they were around $750 a set. Your sport line drop is bigger than most struts can handle.
If you had the pro kit I would advise you to get KYB AGX struts.

i saw a setup for sale in the classifieds with the prokit. what is the difference in drop with the prokit and sportlines???

Prokit is 1.4" all around
Sport line is more. I do not remember the exact numbers.

do you think its safe to buy shocks on ebay??

Those are stock replacement...as in STOCK. There are intended to be used with stock springs. They will fail from the lowering springs.

pro kit = 1.4" / 1.4" (front/rear)

sportlines = 1.7" / 2.3 (front/rear)

and its you need 'new' shocks. LOL
