IRS Big Brake Setup

Ive been doing some research on swapping a n-body IRS into the cavy and found out that u can upgrade to grand prix gxp rear brakes
12in rotors verse 10in

I've looked at that before, but 12" rear brakes on our cars is over the top IMO.

If they were just 11" or 10.5" but vented, I'd give it more consideration.

it'd be a cool conversion if you also did the gxp front brakes or were already running the massive baer brakes. but having the same size brakes on the rear as the front... (nwf front or wilwood) is not smart due to biasing. unless you set up an adjustable biasing set-up it is unsafe.

There's a 13" Vette conversion that can be done on the NFW swap, so it would be better matched, but still, our cars are light. 13" fronts and 12" rears are crazy unless you're doing severe road racing.
