Or is it just a sleeve? A guy is selling a set he told me to make an offer. He don't know how old they are. He said they came with the car when he bought it.

i was gonna say ill give him $50 but i dint wanna seem like a dick. but i mean he has no idea how old they are.

They do look like stock struts, but that could mean they have Koni inserts, you never know unless you can see better.

There is a company out there making really cheap coilovers that are silver, but I thought the springs on those were red. As far as I know, no one has tried them, but I'm very skeptical of them due to their price. IIRC, it was under $400 for a sully assembled set brand new. Considering that's cheaper than the cheap quick struts, it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

If I were you, I'd probably offer him no more than $100. If he balks at it, tell him to get you better pics, and let him know exactly why you're not willing to go higher. Maybe he'll either accept your offer, or try to figure out if they're something decent.
