Is there a huge difference between OEM and Monroe Struts.
In price the OEM are 69CAD and Monroe are 149CAD.
I have a 96 z24.

i think they are basically the same. the monroe ones are a litle stiffer. thats about it

1.what is the proper way to bleed brakes?
2.has anyone ever used Monroe brake pads and rotors?

Im also intereted to know how good monroe brakes are, or if they are much better then the stock ones.

start from the rear passenger, then driver rear, then passenger front, then driver front....
if you use the stock bleeders, you have to make sure that the reservoir never runs dry... have someone open a valve, step on the brake, then close the valve with the brake pressed, then let off the pedal, then open the bleeder again and press again...
long process...
another option is speed bleeders... i have these now... basically just open the valves, and it has a check ball in there.... basicallly connect the bleeder line to it, and slowly depress and release, but the check ball keeps you from opening and closing it each time.....
always never let the reservoir run dry.
third way is to buy a 50$ pressurized kit, which attaches to the reservoir and flushes fluid out via pressurized fluid from a seperate reservoir... so essentially this is the kit/machine most shops use to do things faster.
pick up a manual if you dont have one, its more indepth in there. pretty easy, but with stock stuff and no pressurized piece, its just time consuming and usually takes 2 people.
