2003 with 125K miles. Change the oil every 7-9K miles with Mobil1 and AC Delco filter. The car sat for 2 years as well when I lived in Boston. I think I put all of 7K miles on it from 2005-2007...
8,000. Bought it from Darkstars with 5k on it. Only put 3k on prior to having someone pull out in front of me. Engine will be going into a 00 Fire in a month. It will replace a LD8 with 185k on it.
I have a 04 cavi with 153,00 miles on it . Absolutly no problems whatsoever

96,XXX here. Still runs and looks new well except for needing a new thermostat and has a slight power steering leak.
04 ecotec w/ 163k still no problems. We have a 02 ecotec that comes in our shop and last i checked it had over 600k , the timing chain went at 400k and the rear main started leaking around 500k , but other than that it runs great.!
Uknow these ecotecs are saab/opal motors right?
