1995-1999 Z24 Sedan
Wednesday, January 05, 2005 11:06 AM
Hey guys...

I know that GM never made a 95-99 Z24 sedan, but has anyone on j-body.org made one out of an LS? I'm talking about everything thats in a Z24, rims, seats, ground effects, except for a sunroof since the sedan didn't have an option for that.

some sedans came from the factor with the 2.4 so all you have left is cosmetic stuff and interior swapping ...
People have done it. All the Z24 body parts will fit on the sedan pretty easily.

Yep..

Don't remember the particular members name... But he had a dark orange one, i think.. it might have been white...

Z24 ground effect package.. Z24 rims...

I don't see what else you would swap... Why the seats? So you can have that annoying loop by the headrest?

Majority of the interior panels are the same.. Of all the parts inside that are swappable, theres no point.. because they are the same...

But whatever... GOOD LUCK MAN!!! Tons of people will notice, and you'll be craaaazy famous.!
cool, thats what i'm talking about...

I know that GM made the Z24 sedan in 2002, but it would be unique to have a complete one in the 95-99 era.

Heres one for sale on autotrader, they are asking $9000 CAD with 80k miles. I think thats a little too steep for a 98 and its got alot of other mods.

Hey I'm turning my 97 2.2L Cavy into an 02 LS Sedan...

So far I've got the front bumper cover with lip, crush gaurd, headlights, marker lights are coming...Waiting on a rear cover, & trying to see if I can use side skirts from an 00-02 2dr Cavy (shouldnt be a prob)...

Also my plans are to swap in a 5spd, & then later on an ecotec engine...

I'll post pics when parts start going on (ie spring)
Just a question , did the LS come with Z24 seats already??????????????

I believe the seats were the same except for the pattern on the fabric...The Z24's had a red speckle type fabric.
Are the z24 side skirts long enough to fit on a sedan though without modification? It just seems like they'd have to stretch the car some to make it a sedan.
Still cruisin stock.

Justin: they didnt strech the cars the made the doors smaller and changed the sides to fit the extra door but they are the same length i am almost positve but anyone correct me if im wrong

Wow that orange sedan is beautiful. I had an image in my head of what I wanted to do with a Cav. sedan and that's definitely it. Add the Suburst Orange painted GTZ wheels and it would be all me.

I've seen a number of Z24 sedans in the 95-99 era... none factory of course

It's been done before, yes.. but still looks better than the base model front bumper (in my opinion)
