Hi everyones, i'm new here and i have a little question.

I have a Sunfire 2002 automatic and the light bulb in the shifter bezel is burn. I would like to know how to change it. Do i need to disable all the floor console ???
I tryed to take off that bezel but it's seems that something is retaining it.

Thanks for your tricks. (i'm sorry if my english is not perfect, i usualy speak french.)

i would take the console out cause its only 4 screws and it makes it easier. so just take the 4 screws out and lift the console up and the light should be there

To change that bulb, I highly doubt you need to take off the entire console.

Just take off your shift knob, and pull up on the shifter bezel. It'll pop off, and the bulb should be right there.

^^^ Not on 2000+...

It is held on my 4 screws under the console.. The best way is to remove the console but if you can get your fingers under the edge, you can twist and remove the bulb...

Good luck.

Oh BTW. If you pull on it too hard, your gonna break it.
