got a 2000 z24 and it rolled 280000km today(174000 miles) no probs besides basic tune up and she still hauls azz haha but soon it will be an eco and charger
99 sunfire gt. Water pump and timing chain were done once. Also had to replace the plastic water outlet. Other than that the motor is untouched. Still runs strong and uses about quart of oil between changes. But 2.4s are junk right???
had just over 400k on my 95 2.2 befor it rusted out and the motor turned anuther 100k in anuther car.
my 2000 z24 lasted to 60 k and spun three rod bearings,
mine just passed 200,000k km. running good doesn't burn oil
I have a little over 61,000 on my white '98 Sunfire Convertible. Yes, that's correct 61,000, not 161,000. It hasn't been a "daily driver" since 2001, and is only driven in sunny weather.
