i read the post you left on the other thread but i'm not understanding it.
Are you using the Grand am gauge cluster?
Are you using the Grand am Bcm?
If both cluster and bcm are hooked up is the theft light on?

If it will run on starting fluid, its getting spark. IS YOUR FUEL PUMP KICKING ON???? You prolly have a problem with the theft system, or communication with the fuel pump.

the power steering pump connection's is not on the harness because on my 3400 power steering pump did not have the connection for it. on some models they did have it though. as for for you problem is your theft light on on the instrument cluster?
if it is you need to reprogram your computer by.
1st make sure that the battery is charged.
2nd start the car let it die out if it does start. but leave it in the run position. you will notice that the theft light is blinking then will stay on.
3rd let the car stay in the run postion for 10 mins. when you notice that the theft light is off or gone. turn the key to off for 3 seconds.
4th start the car. the theft light should be off.
try this and let us know what happens
also you could give me a call and i'll try to explain over the phone. email me and i'll give you my #.
