Anyone else's car like that. I just have a muffler with a Catco cat, and a cone filter. About halfway through each gear (not sure what rpm since my tach decided to stop working) is when it's the loudest. Closer to the top of each gear the intake just drowns out the exhaust note (inside and out...had a friend drive it and the intake is ALOT louder). On more thing, during each shift a WOT the exhaust lets out this BBRRAAAPPP!!!! Any idea what that is? I heard something like loss of back pressure cuz his blazer would do the same. Now that i'm complaining about any of this..just curious. I like being able to cruise and barely be noticed by the cop

is it the stock muffler? i've heard a few of those cars make that "bbrraapp" noise when a baffle inside the stock muffler comes loose.

nah, it's an aftermarket muffler, but it did do the samething when i had the stock muffler on

that braaap noise was going on when all i had was a pipe. i think it's just a gm pushrod motor thing
