Changing motors question
Thursday, May 12, 2005 7:11 PM
I feel kind of stupid asking a question like this because I've done it before but what is the best way to remove the 2.4 from my cav. Like I said I've done this before in my worthless no room garage but the motor was pulled out piece buy piece so it was kind of simple.
Do I have to drop it out of the bottom or pull it from the top, with or with out the tranny still hooked up etc. I need to get this done quick and easy tomorrow.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't want to mess with the subframe, out the top it will have to go. You can remove it with the tranny if you want, but if you leave it in it makes it a lot easier to bolt up afterwards.
