Time For an Overhaul

Hey every one, just wondering if i could get some opinions from all of you's that have rebuilt your motors. Specifically the 2.4 Twin cam. I have the fortunate experience of having my 99Z sound like a baseball card in bike spokes. So I decided that it was time to pull the motor and rebuild her. So I guess the question that I am asking is what some of you recommend for internals, and where can i get them from? Starting from rods, to pistons, to pullys, to cranks, what do you think works the best? Thanks for the info.

What are you building towards?? Turbo? Supercharger? N/A? Nitrous?

Karo can hook you up on most if not all of that stuff. I got some 1mm oversize stainless steel valves from him for $200... with ported head and the not-so-secret-anymore cams, I should be going pretty good... on a stock bottom end.

You might want to look into new lifters if that's where the noise was coming from. I don't know of performance lifters, other than boring your cam carriers out for the 2.3L (Quad 4) ones. They're something like 2mm larger in bore?
