Does anyone know any companies that make a dual exhaust kit, besides RK (Magnaflow) Thanx

Borla makes a nice dual exhaust setup. My friend had it on his car and sounded beautiful. Also, the RK Sport one doesn't have any resonators, I believe the Magnaflow setup sells with resonators and/or different mufflers and supposed to sound pretty good also.

arent the rksport and magnaflow the same setups? Rk sells the magnaflow setup.

Unless magna sells a seperate one different from the rksport one.

Borla is fek expensive, but good products for sure.

You could just go to a local muffler shop and ask them to bend you y-pipe and then weld on the mufflers you want. same effect i believe.

rksport is their own custom piping system with magnaflow mufflers. however, its alot cheaper than the magnaflow system, im not sure why. maybe the magnaflow has resonators... because my rk sounds like rice once you get to about 5000 rpms. screaming ripping raspy roar.

It will sound raspy because of what you said, no resonators. To some people they don't mind it, some do. If you buy the magnaflow setup it has resonators and will give you a nice deep tone just like the Borla setup.

as said the RK set up has no ser so it sounds like crap. A guy in my car club stuck i believe a 16 inch res in ther and it sounds REAL nice now.

The magnaflow set-up is also a tad expensive 9no where near the Borla) but it has a res and uses oval mufflers instead of the round ones that RKS uses

how much would it prolly cost to have this done at a muffler shop like GotBoost2001 said

Well, each shop has different pricing, so it's hard to say.

I was quoted $140 with me supplying the parts, however I'm doing something along the lines of a firebird exhaust.

That included bending of the pipes, installing the cat, 18 inch res, custom muffler mount pipes from the muffler and attaching tips to them.

My cat was $75 from Gravana, but you can probally get it cheaper from justmagnaflow.com. My res was $55 from just magnaflow. The Magnaflow muffler I'm using I got from Ebay for $35, and the tips I also got from Ebay for $12.50 each

So I'm looking at about $330 for a custom cat back, which is along the same lines as some pre-made ones.
