Problems with 2001 sport coupe
Saturday, May 28, 2005 9:37 AM
Ever since i have driven it, it would die every other time, sometimes when i turn left hard, or when i go over a pot hole, or hit a bump on the freeway, it would just die, sometimes it would start, sometimes it would not.

Has anybody had this problem? it also would just kill all the electrical, meaning that all the memory like clock and radio would be reset. I took it in to chevy dealer, they added this new relay and said it would be fixed, its been fine for a while, now its starting to die on me again. It gets really annoying and i do not want to take it to the shop again, i can fix things myself, but the cavalier is new to me, so I'm not sure where to start looking at first.

So i came here to ask around, hoping to find a quick solution.

SO if anybody knows, spit it out! thanks

Sounds like a bad ground on the battery or somewhere else. Check that out.

But...since when did Sport Coupes get made in 2001? I thought that was a late 02 model that replaced the Z24 which ended in early 2002.
