on my gauges where my fuel and @!#$ is......the fuel gauge and and temp gauge wont light up when i turn my lights on......can you help me figure out what the problem is? i just put a cd player in and when i used thee lights tonight they didnt light up........help would be appriecated..... Thanks

ok, i have a 02 cavalier and on the dash where that guages are, 3 on them aren't lighting up. My fuel gauge, temp gauge and my odometer......the odometer is digital. Im just wanting to know how i can fix this.....

Have you tried smacking it around? I'm serious!

on my 01, when the odo light went out I gave the top of the dash a good hard wack and the lights came back on.

Also had to do the same thing with my 04 fire when i swaped clusters. Only the engine temp light & odo came on. each smack on the dash lit up another gauge

^^ This is a proven fix that even trained GM service techs use. Kinda sad.

hey, the smacking thing worked. All i did was tap the back and they lit right up.....son of bitch mechanic people.....always trying to take advantage of ya!
