ummm, G35 or 350Z? Better yet, buy a cheap ass Hyundai Accent and tune that! Those are sleepers and fun to toss around on tracks!
I agree with most everyone though. As a 30 year old with a house and kid - SAVE it! Let the interest build on it. Ohhhh, and I have had several promises made to me also to be making 100,000 a year - HHHHHAAAAAA! And here I still sit poor and living pay check to pay check - but I am happy with my wife, child, and nice home to come home to.

SRT-4 are totally awesome! What about a truck? SRT-10 or
Lightning? Those are totally wiked. Your best bet for the money
though would be a collector car. A muscle car or Vette would
not lose alot if any money on. Or you could get my personal
favorite. Delorean!!

Go ahead drop $30K into a Cav. If I had the chance you damn right Id do it. People say it isnt worth it but if you think about it you could have a badass show winning cavi. Then you could get sponsored....then work and drop more $$ into it and be the next Mull. Forget resale, show the hell out of it and eventually be makin money off the car.

Once I get myself up and running again Im gonna be putting every penny I got into my Cav including about $5000 into my system, and another $4-6000K into the interior and my widebody. $30K isnt alot of money if you think about it.
Thx,
Michael

in 10 years time a cavalier will not be worth as much as a corvette agreed but in 10 years time a cavalier will be worth something because they are no longer being made

if you have an extra 30k laying around and you dump it into a car or go out and buy a new car, imo your a @!#$ retard. save it, put it in the bank, get interest on it and make it grow. dont be dumb and waste it on a car

$30,000. I could buy a Nissan Skyline R33 with over 65,000 Km., then raise the boost and that car would haul a$$.

$20,000 you could buy the actualy TOYOTA caviler on streetline.com and fix that engine/car up with the other $10,000. you'd be different then most and have a right hand drive car. only a handful of these in all the united states if even that many. if i had the money id get it.

I think you should give me 10k to convert my cavy to stick, and turbo it and stuff

then take the other 20k for your ride, and totally pimp it out.

then we'll have 2 awesome cars for 30k

just email me, and i'll give you my addy so you can start sendin' thatmoney over!

but seriously....

I'd invest 20K of it.. 10K is enough for me. Buy a civic, drop it on rims w/an exhaust, and be happy. If anything breaks on it, it'u can find it for 20$ or less, trust me.

I'm tellin' Uncle Ben!! You stole his RICE!!

"premiere cavalier" coming soon to a street near you!!

i dont think any car is worth dumping 30k into unless you have so much money its annoying to you. Put it in a money market account or something and let the interest build on it. And i dont know your situation really but lots of people get promised jobs paying alot of money like 100k a year but once youre in that job its not even close. One of my college proffesors told me to take the salary numbers they promise you out of college and cut them in half and thats probably what youll end up getting paid. Youd be better off investing 30k in lottery tickets.

I'll spare you the decision.. Come to Wisconsin, with the 30k, meet me in a dark ally, I will give you a swift kick to the sack, take the money and I will go on my way.. I will find a much better way to spend the money than on a Cavalier..

In all seriousness, you don't have 30k to spend on a Cavalier because I would hope even a 10 year old girl could talk you out of making such a rediculous decision.. You would have to be an absolute idiot. I would but 60 $500 cars before I did that to a Cavalier.. I would rather have 59 of my friends and myself ram into eachother for a good few hours than have to think that one point in my life I put 30k into a car that will still blow.

LOL, I see a whole arse load of broke people here.

Follow my orig plan up there, buy the GM Ecotec Performance HandBook, build yourself that 1000+HP Cavalier and tell me it won't be worth any money.

$30k for a nice car isn't a big deal, unfortunately I have put $30k into a single motor/trans, and almost $15k on a paint job... (i used to have money, now I have to go get a loan to get a spare set of keys made.)

Buy My Camaro. Hell youll have $20,100 LEFT OVER for the higher insurance and It gets 25-28 MPG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW I had a 2000 Z24...switched to the Camaro and my ins went up $40.00 per month.......people easily pay MORE than that on a bleepin Cell phone!
