Ok so i spent a good 2 hours replacing my starter and cylinoid.

I go to reconnect the battery and the starter engages why is this happening?

any input would be great. Ohh and I tried tapping on the cylinoid but that didnt make any difference.

i appreciate any input.

its all about power to weight

maybe you have one of the solenoid wires wrong? Before you say no, take a look and see because it's easy to do.

Did you hook the battery cable to the top of the solenoid or the bottom ? Check and see which side yu hooked the cable to . If you see a braided cable running into the starter then switch the battery cable to the other big post .
