loose hood latch?

anyone else find their hoods don't clasp tight when closed? i've decided that this bothers me now. rattles too much when it should be nice and tight. any quick fixes?
thanks

Does it latch or does it just catch on the safety catch. I am pretty sure that you mean it just feels loose when closed. If that is the case just turn the hood strickers to the left a quarter turn and see if that will help. If the hood then sticks over the fenders than just turn them back. It could be loose nuts and bolts so check that also like they said.

where did my reply go? i swear i posted a response.

anyway, everything seems tight and positioned properly, and yes it's fully latched....there's just give at the front. kinda like what you'd expect if it WASN'T fully latched, just on a lesser scale. i once wedged a sponge underneath the latch itself just to take up some extra space, sure enough it worked...but kind of a ghetto fix i wasn't interested in making permanent.
so just curious if anyone else had it or it's just my luck. i gotta figure if i take 10 minutes i should be able to figure it out. just looking for thoughts.

thanks!
