Im from New Jersey USA and have allstate/liberty mutual :

im 20 almost 21, and have 9 insurance points on my car 02 base cavalier.. got a 5 points 3 years a go for a hit and run accident in the GSP(BUT WASNT MY FAult,, guy hit me and left the scene, and since i couldnt get his plate numbers to go after him; they charged it to my insurance.. i also have a 4 point speeding ticket from 3 years ago. when all the points went onto my parents policy when i was 18, i originally paid $1200 a year, then allstate kicked my policy off my parents and transfered the policy that my car was under my moms name cuz i was a minor over to liberty mutal; which is still allsate but considered RISK INSURANCE., the first year it went up it was $4700 a year, the next it went to $4200 and this august it went down to $3700.. next august the 9 points are all dropping off .. i havent had any other moving violations since the 3 years ago, and im thinking of getting a 350z, since the insurance for that in my own name will be $2600 a year.. not that bad considering i pay $3700 a year right now..

I'm in Chicago going through American Family I have no tickets, my wife has one, we have full coverage on 2 cars with 500 deductibles, one is an 05 cav coupe and the other is an 04 taurus se. we only pay 150 a month for both cars. Check this company out, when we switched to them it was cheaper through them than it was just for one through progressive. and the agents seem nicer than most other company\ies.

25, female, PA, Allstate, clean record

paid off '99 Sunfire
+
financed '99 Outback
--------------------------------
$98/month
or $324.02 every 6 months/$54 every month for just the Sunfire.

I also have my fiance listed as a 2nd driver on the Outback, that raised the rate $20/month, so without him on there it would be $78/month. I also get a discount for having my homeowners insurance through Allstate.

I have "full coverage" on both:
$500 collision deductible
$250 comprehensive deductible

$185 a month on my 98 Sunfire GT, full coverage, but im also part of my parents plan, which includes multicar etc. My 94 Sunbird with liability was only $100 a month, so $85 more isnt too bad considering its a newer (and sportier), and full coverage because ive got a loan on it.

Holy SH!T, batman, which province are you in? That's pretty much theft IMO. I'm 27 and pay $1100 Cdn/year in Alberta (Meloche Monnex) for $2 million liability, $200 deductible (no charge wildlife and glass), and full retail reimbursement for items stolen (huge stereo, expensive downhill bikes). I just put an alarm in, so my rates will likely drop a bit.
My bro just moved to Lloydminster, Alberta last year. He's 24, has 3 speeding tickets on his record, and pays $2400Cdn for his 03 Grand Am (Eco).

I grew up in Saskatchewan, and the most I paid for coverage there was $700/year for my 84 Mustang GT - $50 deductible, free glass and wildlife, and my car ran 13s. If I had my Cav there, I'd probably save $300/year for insurance with even lower deductibles. I lived in Quebec for 4 years, and when I was 24 I had insurance companies laugh on the phone at me when I asked for quotes to insure a 76 Corvette Stingray that I was dealing on. If you're in Canada, the only province I know of with cheap insurance is Sask.
