right now about 900cdn in stereo and rims. theres alot more to come after it is finally payed off
well after reading how much has been spent on everyones J-Body..i guess my question is..why spend the money in mods on the cavalier or sunfire when you could save that money up and buy a used faster, nicer car.? (camaro, firebird,wrx,,etc...)

I had over 10,000 Canadian invested in my 02 cavalier, then I smashed it.
Had to pay a difference of 1900 for the new 05 Sunfire.
Replace Suspension parts - 1200 Cnd.
Tint (New Car) - 125 Cnd.
I have to redo the whole stereo, stupid blown speakers, damaged voice coils and a broken sub box.
That will cost I figure around 3000, with the equipment I want.
So all in all, on two vehicles, with the cost of replacement. 17, 200 and I'm still no where close to being done.

Oh by the way, no stereo yet so figure a good 2K or more once I have that laid out and ready to buy.
Yeah, a bit more than I ever thought I could spend but I've had a blast and wouldn't change it one bit!

I have way too much $$ in my car, I know of right now close to 30k and thats with a sponsored body shop, if I didn't have that it would be like 65k
But hey cars paid off, its my first car, have the money to do it and love to show the car.

because the evil insurance companies want to charge me 2300 every 6 months for insurance on the ws6 i wanted and only720 evry 6 months for full coverage on a cavie i got. so the money i save with the cavie goes to other toys and building my 1986 caprice coupe.

lol its cool i had that happen to me oncce or twice in the past confused the hell oout of me.
id have to estimate in the neighbourhood of 8,000 CDN, and now i have a blown 2.4L so i gotta swap it out and get something else in there.......it makes me sick to think about how much ive spent...
