1/4 times vary...I would say with a manual and a good driver, mid 15 range.

An intake would help a bit...

With an ecotec? Ouch..must of been a bad night. The auto ecotec should be in the mid to low 16's.

Went to the track this past weekend.

Ecotec 2-door 4-speed with a few minor mods (intake, exhaust, lowered) ran a best of 15.9.

Ecotec 2-door 5-speed with an inatke ran 15.7.

i ran a 16.1 with a launch from 1700rpm....where i raced, the second person to stage, (either lane) didn't have time to rev. i don't know if thats right or not cause its the only track ive ever been to, but AS SOON as you both stage, the lights drop....from there i beat my buddies ZX2 escort by at least a car and a half =P

I have the 5 speed manual trans with an intake.
It sounds like I should run about 16.2 to 15.7 is that right?

When you guys get to the line what do you rev to and do you just flat out drop the clutch?

I would rev to bout 4 or 5 k if you had drag radials haha

I acutally revved to 5k when i made my 2.2 60' time, had on the stock 14" Goodyear conquests deflated to like 20 psi I think..

Best of 15.6@86mph.. thats 100% bone stock with stock tires.. (love them conquest's! )
I reved to about 3200.. shifted at 6200...hard to explane how I did my clutch..
I'd imagine a CAI would help alot.. consideing the car starves for air in the topend...

When you rev to 3200 rpm and drop it don't they spin on stock tires?

Running bone stock this spring with 16's on the car on a relatively cool night I ran a 15.75, can't rememebr my 60' though. Was getting better as it had been a while since I had been drag racing, and even longer in a 5-speed

oh, by the way:
04 eco
5-spd
base model
bone stock at the time.
