well i found another vert today. its a 96 pontiac sunfire automatic. it was hit by a deer and needs:

new right fender
passenger side door.
new hood
prolly new bumper.
and a new rag top cause it looks like the back glass is popping out.

parts are hard to find for the verts around here. so id prolly have to order them offline. anyway this guy says he need at least 1500 for it. what do you guys think. and how much do you think i can talk him down to. seeing the condition it is in.

would that not be more damage then the car is worth ?

Maybe, but it is a convertible. I probably would not have a jbody if it weren't a convertible. Just my own preference.

ehh i would give him maybe 1k depending one mileage and what not

mines a 97..has 100,000 miles on it...is in real good condition...i bet im lucky if i could get 2k for it...he wants 1500 and its destroyed..i would have laughed at him/her

i dont know. i was thinking around 500 but that still seems like alot. i was gonna go with around 300 cause i have to get a new radiator also. but i think ive decided against it.

Yeah but if you get this one and it takes 6 grand to fix it cause it has hidden damage then that would suck ! If its to the point where it needs a fender, hood, front bumper,
and radiator who knows if the thing is even straight ? It may need a frame machine to straighten it out AND they don't come cheap !

Hit E-bey and just keep looking but if you want it for parts I'd say its worth the 300 your thinking.

So sue me, I was bored at work. LOL!

i went up to west portsmouth and looked at the teal one. its not too great. would need new fender and new doors. drivers side. plus its riding on 3 dummmy tires and the other one is blown out. im hoping to pick something up saturday at the auto auction.
