Finally Aftermarket Weatherstripping for the Convertible

Alright As many convertible owners know. Ordering the replacement weatherstripping can cost upwards 600+ from gmpartsdirect or 1000+ from the dealer itself.. This is bad. Appearntly a company named Softseal now offers OEM Style replacement for our cars. I have had a chance to order a set and test the quality but I am pretty excited.

On the website it says coming soon, however on ebay it says otherwise.

Quick search of Ebay.. which it wasnt listed as weaterstripping i find it!

woot 469 is not a bad deal! sure as hell beats 600+!!

I purchased from soft seal when I needed New door seals for my 86 Caprice Coupe, and fit/finish were very good. and for the 120 I spent I couldn't have been happier.

you know....i was thinking about seeing if there was interest in a GP on the seals. i think we'd probably need at least 10 to commit for us to get any kind of a good deal though. 469/set should easily be able to be dropped to at least 399 or less with 10 buyers direct from the manufacturer.

any vert owners interested?

you. If you order 10 or more we can offer a 15% discount, if you order

site lists for 479.95. 15% off would be 407.96. 20% off would be 383.96.

not too shabby for a first try. lets see if we can get any better offers before we decide anything though.

I've been putting off this purchase for a while due to the price. Just found Soffseal 8701 (header) and Soffseal 8702 (6 piece set) weather seals on www.carparts.com for $260 total shipped! I used the 5% off coupon code "CPAFF8." Can't wait to install!
