auto harness, manual transmission

I've seen that you can use a harness from an automatic for a manual transmission. I'm looking to do an eco swap(probably the millionth post about one) in the near future and acquired an auto harness. What modifications would I need to do to make it work with my manual transmission. Thanks in advance.

Use Diagram for both Auto and Stick.
Remove the Auto ckts and add the few Manual ckts that are needed.

No plugs added, just remove the auto plugs because they'll get in the way...the wheel speed sensor goes towards the passengers side on the auto, but closer to the drivers side on the manual, but the plug is the same! But what about the ABS? Double check and make sure the donor car has ABS, it'll be easier if your car has it allready....I'm still trying to fiqure out where the wires go in the main plug...everything else...but tearing out my hair trying to figure out the ABS...when you find out wanna let me know please??? Thanks!

it would be way easier to get the harness you need if you don't know how to do the wiring you will likely mess it up also if you need to add abs and you don't know how to do that you will mess it up

just save yourself the hassel and get the harness you need. i had an auto harness that was hacked and repaired it and added ABS but i have been building j body harness for 3 year now for various swaps i re wire my car pretty much every winter as i add and delete things out of it i do this to keep it looking clean with wires not goin everywhere

you can mess things up if its wrong

Bump... Having the same issue. The engine I got for my Eco swap is out of an auto car. I have a manual transmission. The guys helping me with the swap (Pj & Matt Evilution) are well versed but haven't done this personally. Disregarding abs, what needs changing specifically between the trans plugs... Such as the clutch switch vs the auto's park/neutral safety switch. Any guidance would be really helpful.

^^ Is this all that needs to be done? Just use the VSS and reverse switch plugs on the auto harness, then connect the wires together for the park/neutral switch to bypass it?
